Handball Rules
- 7 vs. 7
- three steps- dribble- three steps
- No Double Dribble
- Once you pick up your dribble, you must dribble again or pass within 3 seconds.
- The goalkeeper is the ONLY player (offense AND defense) allowed in the goal area, which is the lined area in front of the goal.
- The goalkeeper is the ONLY player who may use their feet to block the ball.
- Once a goal is scored, play is resumed by that goalkeeper that was just scored on.
- Out of bounds is the basketball court lines.
- Opposing team inbounds ball from place ball went out.
- If defense sends ball out of bounds on own goal line, opposing team inbounds from closest corner (like corner kicks in soccer).
- Opposing team inbounds ball from place ball went out.
- Fouls (all fouls result in turnover to other team):
- More than 3 steps without a dribble
- Holding onto the ball for more than 3 seconds
- Dislodging/hitting/punch the ball from another player
- Kicking the ball
- Anyone other than the goalkeeper in the goal area
- Player is reckless
- More than 3 steps without a dribble
